안녕하세요. (주)리우션이 운영하는 이모먼트가 기획한 첫 해외 팝업을 아티스트 김한나와 함께 합니다. 2월23일부터 3월26일까지 태국 방콕에 위치한 ‘스페이스 하루(Space Ha:ru)’에서 김한나 작가의 개인전 <RABBITIVITY>가 열립니다.
그동안 재능 넘치는 젊은 작가들을 발굴해온 이모먼트는 2023년부터 국내를 넘어 해외로 K-아티스트를 소개하는 기획을 마련하였습니다.
첫 번째 작가로 소개하는 김한나 작가 (b. 1981, 부산, 한국)는 한나와 토끼의 일상을 다룬 회화로 이미 국내 현대미술 컬렉터들과 새로운 MZ세대 구매자들 사이에서 잘 알려져 있습니다. 회화와 조각, 애니메이션 뿐만 아니라 출판 분야까지 섭렵한 그녀는 한나와 토끼라는 사랑스러운 캐릭터를 둘러싼 특유의 포근한 분위기를 연출합니다.
김한나의 작품들은 최근 중화권에서도 작품 수요가 크게 증가하여 동남아시아라는 새로운 시장에 도전할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였습니다.
전시가 열리는 ‘스페이스 하루(Space Ha:ru)’는 ㈜리우션과 태국과 한국간 무역을 통해 성장한 ㈜디애름(THE AREAM Co.,Ltd.)이 협업하여 K-아티스트들을 포함한 다양한 K-콘텐츠를 태국에 알리고자 마련한 문화공간입니다. 급격히 성장한 한국의 K-아티스트들을 다양한 프로젝트를 통해 소개할 예정입니다. 많은 관심 부탁드립니다.
LIUSHEN is pleased to present the solo exhibition of Hanna Kim <RABBITIVITY> as the first overseas pop-up show of emoment, which is managed by LIUSHEN since 2021. It will be held at Space Ha:ru in Bangkok, Thailand from 23 February, through 26 March.
emoment has been devoted to finding young and talented Korean artists. We finally begin to promote K-Artists to oversea collectors and audiences this year. As the first project, let us introduce the artist Hanna Kim (b.1981 in Busan, Korea).
She is renowned for her paintings which depict the daily life of Hanna and a Rabbit. These adorable characters that make a cozy and subtle but not monotonous mood attracted many contemporary art collectors as well as new-in young customers. She spans the creative areas from paintings, and drawings to sculptures, animations, and even publishing.
Currently, the collectors’ demands for Hanna Kim’s work from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore are rapidly increasing. It provoked the possibility of challenging the new oversea market like Southeast Asia, close to China.
The collaboration between LIUSHEN and THE AREAM Co., Ltd., which has grown for trade business between Thailand and Korea, opened Space Ha:ru. This cultural space will help introduce rapidly growing K-contents including Korean artists to the audience from Thailand. More diverse projects will greet you this year. We hope for your continuous attention and interest.
